On Thursday, February 11th, I finished my Atlantic crossing in a time of 53 days, 12 hours and 21 minutes. I was welcomed into English Harbour with flares, a cacophony of horns from all the super yachts in the harbour, and the blaring of “Africa” by Toto from one of the biggest super yachts. They all led the way to an emotional reunion with Sarah and the kids, and my dad and step-mom.
Thank you all for your immense support throughout my journey. I will endeavour to write a bit more about my adjustment to life back on land.
P.S. Sorry this post is a little late – wifi isn’t so easily available when we are working on packing away The Dog House.
